Up for auction is one shapr looking zenith radio model 6-d-525 manufactured in 1941. This walnut wood radio has left raised horizontal grille bars, a right front black dail and two z knobs. The wooden case on this radio is in very good condition with soem age and wear marks on it. There is a white hazy spot on the top of teh radio where possibly a glass or container was placed and left the haze. This does not detract from the looks of this radio, it only adds to the patian of it. Both knobs turn freely on this zneith radio. When you plug in this little wooden beauty it turns on and powers up, but does not play. On the plastic cover on the dial fo this radio there is a small hole. Also the back plate is not in very good condition, which is why the washers are on the screws so as to hold it on. This radio seems to have a new plug.
The walnut case sure looks sharp no this radio. This radio measures approximately 12 long, 7 1/2 tall and 6 1/2 wide, not counting the louvers.
