1949 Zenith G500 Trans Oceanic Radio Hard To FindHere is a 1949 zenith model g500 trans oceanic portable shortwave radio. The case is in godo shape with only typical wear. There are 2 small cuts ni the covering at the right rear, visible in the last picture. The dila is bright and in good condition. The on/volume knob works fine, but the tuning knob will not turn the dial, like maybe something is stuck inside. The rubber reception buttons on the right were removed at some point, but are included (see next to last picture). I plugged the unit in, but could gte no response. The antenna is straight and does extend fully.
All in all a great unit, ready for restoration! Usa sales only! Payment by paypal only! Shipping charge is $20. I ship by ussp parcel post to the usa only and recommend the optional insurance. Item si sold as-is!
