Belmont Wood Cathedral Radiomodel 401WorkingBelmont cathedral wood radio, model 401, working. Here is a rather rare and great cathedral radio from belmont radio, their model 401 circa 1935. This has been in my collection since 1995 and was fully restored at that time, including a new finish and grille cloth. This radio has a full model and tube layout label on teh inside of the cabinet. It also has a small nameplate on the front of the radio freshman masterpiece, which is a model name belmont sometimes used. The three knobs are original and the ardio is working. It's a four tube set, #55, #60, #57, and #2a5.
A great find for the collector of older radios. The chassis has a small amount of surface rust, nothing serious. Of course, these old radios did not have backs.
