Old Vintage World War 2 Zenith Bomber Companion RadioI will offer the best in radio collecting. Watch every week for great featured items. What you are buying is a beautiful world war 2 zenith bomber companion tube radio. This smaller companion radio to the larger shortwave radio is much, much rarer than the very common 7g605 shortwave bomber radio. Best of all this vintage war time radio is by far the best one i have ever owned and offered for sale. The cabinet is in near mint condition with nxet to no wear at all. The radio still retains the felt pads beihnd each zenith logo front knob, the original leather handle, and the bomber speaker grille is still very brightly colored with next to no wear at all. The radio is very clean inside as well as outside, even the rubber pads on the wave magnet antenna are still flexable, omst others are dried out and wont even bend. The radios cord is old and as you can see in a photo has tape on it by the chassis and i did not want to chance pluging the radio in, so this radio is untested. I am including a copy of the instructions for this type of radio.So dont let this one slip by, thye do not come up for sale in this condition very often.
