Philco 37620 Cathedral Tombstone Antique RadioOffered here is a completely restored philco model 37-620 vintage antique tombstone cathedral radio. The wood cabinet is structurally sound, has a beautiful finish and is in immaculate like new condition with no dents or scratches. There are no loose joints or loose or missing veneer. The knobs are all original in excelletn condition. All ocntrols work smoothly. The dial utrns freely with no slippage. The dial scale is undamaged and fully readable. The chassis is complete with all tubes and original speaker. The ac power cord has been replaced wiht a new cord. It is electronically restored to meet original factory specifications. All defective and substandard components and tubes have been identified and replaced. All replacement parts are new except for tubes which are used but test good. tI is very clean inside and out. This one is museum quality 9+ looks liek new on the 1 to 10 cosmetic scale. It will tune in many stations loud and clera with a short wire antenna. Coverage is teh am broadcast band and two short wave bands. Frequency coverage is the am broadcast band 530 to 1720 khz.Short wave bands 2.3 to 7.4 mhz and 7.3 to 22 mhz. You can count on this radio being a totally functional ready to use item with no repairs needed. This item is from a non smoker environment accurately described and, as with all vintage electronic items, is being offered for sale as is but will not arrive doa.
