Rare 1938 Emerson Snow White Dwarfs Tube RadiowowYou are bidding no a rare 1938 emerson snow white & dwarfs tube radio. This radio has a right front airplane dial, left cloth grill, 2 knobs, and is ac/dc. The front of the radios looks to be made od plastic/bakelite, and the radios cabinate is made of wood. I was not able to find a model number on this radio, but i believe ti is model bm-247.
This radio is 7 1/2 inches tall, 5 inches wide, and 10 1/2 inche long. I have never seen another radio in scuh great condition as this one. The condition of this radio is lamost near perfect. The only flaw i saw was a crack from snow whites foot, to bottom left corner of the dial, but does not really stand out. I just noticed it for the first time my self.
The radios doe shave some minor paint missing, but in great condition for it's age. hTe cloth speaker grill does not have any holes or snags.
The yellow dial paper background is warped. The 2 knobs move great, and you can even hear the clicking sound when you turn the radio on. I am not sure if this radio works because the end of the cord is european.
This radio must of been sold in europe, or wsa restored in europe. The back board looks to be not original. The inside of the radio is in great condition, and very clean and taken care of. I do believe this radio does work. This is such na awesome piece to own and add to a collection. Do not pass on this greta radio, you will not see one like this again.
