Imagelink img. Auctionimage border 2px solid #582613. Heer is a sessions clock with a truetone stratoscope brc-d1001 series a tube type radio. It is made of wood in a waterfall design. On 8-1-1946 it was presented to the children.
The serial number is 11735 and the radio works fine with its external antenna. The wood case is in excellent condition wiht no separations. The sessiosn alarm clock needs a little tlc and might start working again. It is 65 years old.
It tries to run, but doesn't continue. If it was left plugged in for an extended amount of time, it would probably start and continue. The outer wrap of the power cord is flaking away, but the rubber insulation on hte individual wires is still solid. I wasn't afraid at all to plug it in. Shipping is what it is, because it weighs abotu 10 pounds.
