This si one nice radio. This radio is an airline, made for montgomery ward by the wells-gardner company. The wells-gardner number on the tag is 24, but stein's reference book labels this radio as model number 103.
Disitnctive shouldered cabinet measures 17 1/2 in. High by 16 in.
Wide by 9 in. Deep. The radio is quite heavy, weighing ni at 30 lb. The cabinet is in greta shape with a very distinctive pattern of speaker cutouts. There is some staining of the grille cloth up in the corner, but it doesn't really detract from the beauty of this set. The dial is a crescent shape which lights pu a beautiful green around the pointer, with a listing of multiple stations across the country. Teh radio works great across the am broadcast band, loud and clear.
