Vintage Catalin Tom Thumb Radio Yellow ButterscotchPelase do not use the ebay shipping calculator, it is incorrect. Up fro auction is a vintage yellow or butterscotch catalin radio. I have no idea what brand ti is. As i see no name on the dial or cabinet. I have searched the internet but have not been able to. Fidn another like it. Perhpas someone out there will know what it is and could let me know. And they have, a fellow ebayer has informed me that this is a tom thumb radio. I have not plugged it in but will assume it will need restoring electrically. The cabinet has a crack. On the side that runs from the speaker grille under the bottom edge to the back of the radio. And a crack on the bottom from the chassis screw hole to a vent hole and to the back edge as. Shown. I was going to try some plastic weld on the crack but you may have anohter method of repair. Yuo use so i decided to leave it alone. The clear dial cover has cracks in it but there rae people offering. Cutsom dial lenses here on ebay. The radio still has it's original cloth codr which has one small frayed spot. It also still has the original antenna wire which has two spots where the copper wire has somehow been. Pulled out from the cloth covering. The grill cloth has no tears ubt there is one spot on the fabric.
Lastly sa you. Can see part of the back cover is missing.
Despite its flaws i think this is a worth whiel radio as it has a great look and it does not seem to be a very common. Catalin set.
